Architecture as horizontal space.

Hudson Yard Line

Hudson Yard Line rethinks vertical urbanism through horizontal circulation. Situated along the West Side Highway, the proposal envisions a masterplan of high-rises connected by skybridges and spiral corridors, enhancing comfort and pedestrian flow across towers. Informed by advanced BIM workflows, the design integrates massing, programming, and façade systems to optimize daylight, reduce glare, and mitigate wind. Office, hotel, and retail uses are stratified across vertical zones, while public access and visual porosity reinforce engagement with the High Line and waterfront. Through strategic connections—both literal and spatial—the project transforms isolated towers into an interconnected system for resilient, human-scaled density

Master Plan

To address the shortage of long-term accommodations in the East, the West side is designated primarily for office and hotel use. In response to the High Line—and to enhance indoor circulation and connectivity—a spiral corridor links the upper floors on the West, providing a more comfortable lateral flow along the typically windy Hudson River.
